Hey, this is Chelsey and i'm going to take you through some of the things that we have been doing today and on Wednesday. xD
We are media students at headlands school in Bridlington, East Yorkshire whop are filming for MusicPort 2010.We're shooting a combination of different clips of Headlands' music s
tudents rehearsing and performing for the actual MusicPort concert at the spa tonight and over the weekend.
The Media Students at headlands school, including myself, have been offered the chance to film and take part in the media industry for a couple of days. We have taken this opportunity we have been given to film and interview as part of our media course as it will give us experience in doing so and it will also help us with our coursework in the future.
Today is the second of two days that we have been developing skills in filming, editing, rendering, uploading, blogging with Mike Leigh Cooper from Music4u - who should get a lot of credit for this massive opportunity we media students have been offered!
This opportunity is unique as we have never done anything like this before in our media career or ever been given the chance to. It is unique as I haven't heard of any other opportunities like this that ave been set up. I know there have been other MusicPort shows in previous years but this is the 1st year that media students at Headlands school have had the chance to take part. the thing that's most fun about this year's MusicPort is that we have been able to choose our own groups and our roles amongst the group which has enabled us to share and get along rather than having group tension. It has been fun as we have experienced a different type of media with our friends and have met some new people in doing so.

Misfits at Comic Con
If it's SOMEHOW escaped your attention, we're back on Sunday at 10pm. And to celebrate, we're delighted to announce that creator Howard Overman and cast will be opening the MCM London Comic Con on Friday 26th October.
Show creator Howard Overman will be joined on the panel by cast members including the inimitable Joseph Gilgun, along with Nathan McMullen and Matt Stokoe who are joining the gang this series.
There'll also be exclusive clips from the coming series and some insider gossip and stuff. And as if that isn't enough, there will also be the opportunity to pick up a copy of the brand new Misfits book and get it signed by the gang! HELLLYEAH (you can buy the book here btw, too).
